Main Accountabilties
Product Costing
- Manage product costing, in terms of capacity planning, cost center accounting, internal orders, tariffs and routings as well as the product cost development and follow-up actions
- Create, maintain and supervise the key figures in the area of responsibility
- Roll the standards and understand revaluations on account level
Investment Controlling
- Steer and control all investment (financial) activities as well as the planning of specific items, follow-up processes and approval processes
- Control the acquisition of assets
- Ensure efficiency in the time management and time scheduling
- Prepare the post-completion reviews
- Create, maintain and supervise the key figures in the area of responsibility
Cost Accounting
- Manage the preparation of the cost accounting records; develop and implement the cost control systems and procedures, compute the project costs, compare the actual costs to the estimates and analyze the variances
- Analyze the cost records and the calculation of the unit cost for the products or services related to a specific job or project; examine any costs that seem contrary to past experience
- Prepare and emit the statistical reports for the comparison of costs and for the determination of the profitability of the product and analyze the results
- Manage a consolidated annual budget plan, establish and coordinate the budgeting systems and procedures; identify and analyze the variations
- Monitor and review the actual financial performance against the budget, prepare and emit the statistical reports for the comparison between the current situation and the budgeted forecast
- Determine and execute action plans to improve the financial performance if the business is not performing to plan, prepare financial forecasts and provide analysis of the results
- Manage the financial forecasts, planning, analysis activities and projects; provide evaluations, prepare the reports and make recommendations about the financial implications of the proposed investments and transactions (follow the M+H CapEx procedures)
- Interpret the financial information on costs, prices, expenses and revenues and make recommendations for improvements
- Evaluate the industry, economic, financial, and market trends (e.g. revenues, expenses, costs, prices, investments, cash flow, profits, labor market trends, inflation, interest rates, and exchange rates) to forecast the M+H short, medium and long-term financial and competitive position

Long Description
Reporting
- Participate in the financial data collection process
- Develop and maintain the standard reporting packages and documentation
- Provide support in the preparation of the M+H consolidated financial statements
- Create, maintain and supervise the key figures in the area of responsibility
Inventory Management
- Steer and control the process of inventory levels for the raw materials, semi-finished and finished goods as well as the M&E and Tolling
- Manage the reporting systems (in collaboration with the logistics department)
- Manage the budgeting and forecasting activities, and review the actual status
- Create, maintain and supervise the key figures in the area of responsibility
Production Controlling
- Steer and control all production areas in terms of efficiency and productivity
- Report and development action plan to optimize the performance of the production area
- Understand and develop as well as optimize the standard costing systems
- Control headcount, investment, cost accounting, cost centers, spending, capacities and performance of the production site
- Maintain and develop KPIs for the management
Risk Management
- Identify the potential risks; develop, implement and monitor the strategies to minimize the M+H current and future exposure to financial, operational or other risks within a region, country or business unit
- Liaise with the Corporate Function in order to collaborate with insurance providers to minimize the insurance costs, to guarantee optimal insurance policies/coverage and service
- Perform analysis on the profit and asset growth as well as on the credit and other risk exposures, analyze the monthly reports to identify (potential) vulnerabilities and recommend solutions and corrective methods
- Forecast and evaluate the potential impact of current and future laws and regulations on the M+H financial operations
- Create, maintain and supervise the key figures in the area of responsibility
Internal Audit
- Create/use the internal control systems in order to ensure compliance with the M+H procedures and, thus, minimize the financial risks
