This is a remote position. To be considered, candidates must currently reside in one of the following states: KY, IN, MI, WV, PA, DE, MA, NJ, NY, RI, VT, CT, NH, ME, or VA.
The Regional Sales Manager – Northeast is responsible for driving sales growth through MANN+HUMMEL’s distributor and wholesale channel network across the Northeast region. This role requires a self-motivated sales professional who thrives in a highly autonomous, field-based environment and is comfortable managing relationships, influencing outcomes, and representing a premium manufacturing brand.
Main Tasks
Key Responsibilities

Plan and direct regional business activities to meet booking and sales objectives within the Filter Sales and Service Distributor network and HVAC Wholesale channels

Manage regional sales performance and targets while monitoring sales activity, follow-up actions, and closing success or loss

Provide technical support to distributors, contractors, specifying engineers, and end customers, including training on product features, benefits, applications, and internal systems

Participate in trade shows, conferences, and sales meetings to generate leads, grow sales, and identify new business opportunities

Travel throughout the Northeast region to engage with existing and prospective customers, understand needs, and solicit orders

Identify customer needs and develop proposals and presentations that align MANN+HUMMEL solutions with customer requirements

Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, including effective negotiation and closing abilities
Requirements
Education
-
Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED required)

Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience
-
Minimum of 3+ years of channel sales experience selling HVAC products to wholesalers or distributors

Sales experience working for a manufacturer preferred
Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Strong written and verbal negotiation and closing skills

Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in the field while professionally representing MANN+HUMMEL to customers

Ability to travel a minimum of 50% domestically, including overnight travel
