Job Summary:
The Junior Outside Account Manager will support a tenured Regional Sales Manager by managing and growing our customer base, with a particular focus on key accounts in Texas. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional looking to gain mentorship from an experienced leader while contributing immediately to customer success. This role will focus on providing timely and responsive support to our customers, building strong relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of outside sales experience, preferably in the HVAC industry, and a proven track record of calling on distributors as a manufacturer’s representative.
Main Tasks

Customer Support:

Provide timely and responsive support to customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams to ensure smooth communication and problem resolution.

Sales Support:

Assist the Regional Sales Manager in developing and executing sales strategies to meet revenue targets.

Conduct regular customer visits to build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts.

Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within existing and potential accounts.

Product Knowledge:

Develop a deep understanding of our product line, including features, benefits, and applications.

Educate customers on product offerings and provide recommendations based on their needs.

Market Intelligence:

Gather and report market intelligence, including competitor activities, customer feedback, and industry trends.

Use this information to help the Regional Sales Manager refine sales strategies and improve customer support.

Administrative Duties:

Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and other documentation as required.

Your Profile
Qualifications:
-
1-2 years of outside sales experience, preferably in the HVAC industry.

Experience calling on distributors as a manufacturer’s representative is highly desirable.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.

Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Must be located in Texas to support one of our largest customers in the region.
Willingness to travel up to 50%, primarily overnight travel, within the assigned Western United States territory. -
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
