Role Summary
This is an ONSITE position at our location in Washington, North Carolina.
The Inside Sales Associate serves as an operational business contact for the client and is responsible for client satisfaction by supporting the customer and Key Account Managers.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• SAP transition team LPE (Local Process Expert) coordinating training and operations communication
• Consistently provide excellent customer service to accounts, as well as represent client needs and goals within the organization to ensure on time quality parts and service
• Manage the day to day relationship with assigned businesses/customers
• Support the retail sales team alignment with customer and internal requirements
• Support establishing pricing, minimum order quantity, lead times, delivery terms, packaging and logistics for parts with the given customers and markets
• Ensure that correct prices are maintained and processed
• Support quote developments and Request for Quote (RFQ) responses
• Support all re-pricing and material surcharge recovery negotiations with the customer
• Lead the investigation and resolution of all accounts receivable (A/R) and invoicing concerns
• Monitor customer satisfaction and propose corrective measures
• Primary escalation interface between M+H and customers for all matters relating to supply of parts
• Be responsible for customer scorecard metrics from sales, in coordination with Warranty/Quality & Customer Service
• In conjunction with Logistics, resolve concerns related to backorders, late shipments, and other delivery related items
• Level 1 Customer Service escalation point (from CSR, before KAM)
• Support prototype order processing, tracking and follow-up, internally and with customer contacts
• Manage pricing disputes in coordination with Key Account Managers needs
• Support inventory reviews and analysis for stocking agreements and inventory control measures
• Facilitate new part setup, completion and follow-up in conjunction with manufacturing plant
• Provide and organize sales analysis for customer meetings as necessary
REQUIREMENTS
Education:
• High School diploma or GED
Experience:
• 3 years’ minimum experience in Sales or Customer Service
• Advanced skills with MS Office suite (PowerPoint and Excel performing pivot tables, graphs and v-lookups)
• Strong experience using SAP
Preferred Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
• Big Box Retail sales experience
• Previous inside sales experience working within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Project Management experience
