Role Summary
Driving Global ERP Excellence in Logistics
As Global Process Manager (m/f/d) for Material Planning & Logistics (MP&L), you will play a key role in shaping and rolling out S/4HANA processes across our Life Sciences & Environment (LS&E) business segment. With a strong focus on logistics and supply chain, you will define and standardize processes, train local experts, and drive systems improvements in an international environment. You´ll act as a central interface between global operations and IT, ensuring the succesful implementation of scalabble, future-ready ERP solutions.
Main Tasks
- Define business process in supply chain (logistics)
- Responsible for the documentation of testing and processes, the preparation of training activities, and for fit to gap analysis in MANN+HUMMEL LS&E locations
- Responsible for MANN+HUMMEL LS&E template standardization in coordination with operations and other functional experts
- Training of local process experts & key users and their assessment
- Responsible for driving solutions & integrations for SCM line of business
- Creation of test concepts for integration and simulations tests
- Acquiring of external ERP, particularly SAP, knowledge to advise operational teams of new developments and system solutions and opportunities
Your Profile
- Education: Successfully completed university degree in Loistics, Operations, Supply Chain Management or a related field; master´s degree preferred
- Professional Experience: More than 5 years of relevant professional experience in material planning, logistics, or supply chain in a multinational environment
- Expertise:
- Proven experience in working within international and matrix organisations
- Strong technical and functional expertise in MP&L proccesses, including operations and lean principles (e.g., PULL systems, value stream mapping)
- In-depth knowledge of SAP ERP systems, with hands-on experience in OTC (Order-to-Cash), MTO (Make-to-Order), and MTS (Make-to-Stock) processes
- Practical experience in warehouse operations, ideally using SAP Extended Warehouse Management (SAP EWM)
- Confident in analyzing, optimizing, and standardizing logistics workflows across global sites
- Language: Business-fluent in both German and English (spoken and written)
- Personality:
- Strong team player with the ability to work across functions and cultures
- Structured and analytical thinker with a continuous improvement mindset
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in project-based settings
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 50% during project phases
