Role Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Power BI Intern to join our team. The intern will be responsible for creating advanced Power BI reports, integrating various SharePoint sites, and developing a comprehensive dashboard for senior management reporting. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data visualization and business intelligence.

Main Tasks

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop advanced Power BI reports and dashboards to meet the needs of senior management.
  • Integrate data from multiple SharePoint sites to create a unified reporting system.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather and understand data requirements.
  • Translate complex datasets into clear, meaningful, and visually compelling insights for business stakeholders.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across integrated sources.
  • Optimize dashboards for performance, scalability, and user experience.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all reports and dashboards.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Assist in the automation of data collection and reporting processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to Power BI reports and SharePoint integration.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in Power BI and data visualization.
  • Assist in the development of AI agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI, or similar frameworks.
  • Support prompt design, conversation flows, and automation logic for AI-driven workflows.
  • Help connect AI agents to structured/unstructured data sources (documents, emails, databases, APIs).
  • Participate in testing, monitoring, and refining AI agent performance.

Specific Skillsets Needed:

  • Advanced Power BI Skills: Ability to create complex reports, dashboards, and data models.
  • SharePoint Integration: Experience in connecting and integrating data from various SharePoint sites.
  • Data Analysis: Proficiency in analyzing large datasets to extract meaningful insights.
  • SQL Knowledge: Familiarity with SQL for querying and managing data.
  • VBA Knowledge: Skills in VBA for data cleaning and automation tasks.
  • Automation: Skills in automating data collection and reporting processes.
  • Troubleshooting: Ability to identify and resolve issues related to Power BI and SharePoint.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring data accuracy and consistency in all reports and dashboards.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with different departments.
  • Exposure to AI technologies, LLMs, bots, or automation tools is preferred not mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with Power BI and SharePoint integration.
  • Knowledge of SQL and other data querying languages.
