Role Summary

The job incumbent performs engineering activities in design and development for the business units and ensures that the designed products meet the companys standards and the customer specifications.

Main Tasks

  • Participate in the development and implementation of the defined functional specifications for products based on the customer requirements
  • Participate in/support the development of the design concepts for the products
  • Prepare and maintain the simulation documentation in the area of responsibility
  • Plan, manage and conduct the simulating activities for specific products
  • Analyze the errors and defects and derive recommendations for the product/process modifications
  • Provide product modification recommendations to resolve product issues and to meet the requirements
  • Prepare the presentations of the simulation results for internal as well as external purpose and provide technical expertise for the products to the customer
  • Gather, analyze and report the simulation data and results in a timely manner to ensure the product reliability and quality
  • Ensure that the cost of simulation activities is in line with the project budget and plan
