JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Sales Account Manager serves as the primary daily contact responsible for all commercial aspects associated with the account support actions of the assigned customers.

  • Responsible for the daily management of all accounts within the sales organization, while aggressively pursuing new growth opportunities - both within existing customers, as well as new customers 
  • Provide effective management of sales efforts in support of Business Plan Targets in sales, profitability, and AR performance
  • Provide regular updates to the Sales Director concerning both current and new potential customer account activities
  • Must maintain detailed knowledge of both current and targeted profitability by product group and customer.
  • Will be responsible for development and successful implementation of innovative new business acquisition strategies within current customer base as well as targeted new customers
  • Serves as the primary managerial contact for OE filter customers, and is responsible for ensuring both the customer, as well as all appropriate organizations within M+H are effectively managed
  • Must be able to effectively communicate both internally and externally of M+H organization in support of key projects
  • Account manager will be actively involved in global coordination of key customers

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

 Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or other technical/ business-related field

 

Experience: 

 5-10 years’ experience in OE Sales and/or Category Management

  • Experience managing Stellantis and GM accounts
  • Experience in outside sales with major OEM passenger car customer accounts
  • Current passport and visa 

  

Required Skills:

-   Excellent verbal and written English communication, negotiation and presentation skills

-   Efficiency using Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel, Word & PowerPoint)

-   Ability to travel up to 25% (mostly domestic)

-   Disciplined and able to work well under pressure

 

Preferred Skills and Requirements:

 

-   Previous sales experience in OEM passenger car battery electric vehicle customer segment, as well in filtration product is highly desired
