Role Summary
Distribution & Transport Management of Distribution and Transportation will lead and oversee distribution and transportation operations in MHXX, ensuring efficient execution and continuous optimization. Drive performance across Distribution Centers, optimize the local distribution footprint, and enhance transportation processes to improve service levels, reduce costs, and increase operational efficiency
Main Tasks
- Execute distribution and transportation strategy within MHXX aligned with global supply chain goals and support the company’s growth objectives.
- Drive performance in Distribution Center and optimize the local distribution network.
- Improve transportation efficiency through process optimization, cost control, and service enhancements.
- Monitor KPIs such as on-time delivery, cost per shipment, and lead times.
- Ensure compliance with QHSE standards across all operations.
- Ensure effective communication and alignment across all levels of the organization.
- Establish strong relationships with external partners to ensure reliable service and competitive pricing.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly performance reviews with vendors to ensure adherence to agreed standards, KPIs, and service levels, and drive continuous improvement.
- Develop and manage the distribution and transportation budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with local financial goals, with assistance from CO, Regional and Global Distribution & Transport Head.
- Drive strategy execution for the distribution process, SQDC implementation, and management of 3PL provider.
- Provide subject matter expertise for new 3PL RFQs.
- Feasibility study for any new coming projects like lead time, cost, freight, duty etc.
- Manage and optimize all transportation for both inbound and outbound flows.
- Analyze and report on financial performance, identifying opportunities for cost savings and improved results.
- Assess financial risks associated with logistics and transportation operations, taking appropriate escalation steps for mitigation.
- Ensure compliance with international regulations related to transportation, Customs, and trade.
Job Requirements (Qualifications, Skills, Experience, Competencies)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or comparable qualification in Business Administration or Industrial Engineering with a Logistics focus
Functional Skills
- E-commerce implementation (process lead as an advantage)
- Multiple Project Management & Implementation including 3PL changes & 4PL
- SAP Key User, particularly QM & MM modules (including customization)
- Proven Experience in driving results improvement
Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in distribution logistics.
- 1-2 years of experience in transportation coordination and optimization.
- Experience in automotive manufacturing / M+H product and manufacturing process knowledge
Preferred

- Good proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Analytical thinking & problem solving
- Proactive approach and willingness to learn and stay updated with market trends.
