Role Summary

  • Responsible for market research, end-user insights, data analysis, support strategy development, category management, data/research supplier management. research budget management. Support brand and product marketing teams with proprietary research studies.

Main Tasks

    • Direct custom quantitative and qualitative customer research studies e.g., surveys, focus groups and observational studies to understand customer behaviors and preferences.
    • Translate customer insights into actionable strategies.
    • Champion the “voice of the customer” through strategic thinking and deliverables across all facets of the business.
    • Segment and profile consumers based on needs, behavioral patterns, demographics, and psychographics.
    • Develop and maintain detailed consumer personas to inform targeted marketing and product development strategies.
    • Utilize market intelligence to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and opportunities for business growth.
    • Responsibility for systematic data collection from various sources, coordination of data collection and analysis in close collaboration with industry partners, and ensuring data quality.
    • Keep track of market development in terms of product application trends, define the new business opportunities, identify new market field and build up business partnership or new business model with new emerging channels (e.g.: E-Commerce) in order to be market leader instead of follower.
    • Monitor SKUs development and sales reports by segment level, identify the gaps (flop items, customers etc..), WDIM analysis
    • Develop new value-added services for better customer obsession (e.g.: Customer portal, Part number Monitoring system).
    • Track major competitiors, key market trends, take/propose the actions to grow M+H share of wallets of main customers and oversseeing new Project initiatives
    • Maintenance of  Sales Platform such as CRM or Mapping tools

Experience & Education Qualification

  • University degree in Business Administration, Commerce or equivalent field of education
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in Multinational corporations, the Automotive Aftermarket segment is a plus
  • Business acumen, Strong data analytic skills, customer orientation, organization and coordination skills, self-initiative and ability to work under pressure
  • Intermediate to Advanced MS office skills, experience with SAP
  • Proficient in English (written & spoken)
