Role Summary
Category Manager will take ownership of our product portfolio, delivering strong growth performance, volume growth, and industry-leading quality across Australia and New Zealand. Working closely with Demand & Planning - Logistics and Marketing teams. The Category Manager will be responsible for market research, end-user insights, data analysis, support strategy development, data/research supplier management, budget management.
Main Tasks
- Develop and execute a full product strategy to drive category growth and profitability.
- Increase product profitability through new product development and lifecycle management.
- Manage the product roadmap with competitor insights, market research, and trend analysis.
- Utilize market intelligence data to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and opportunities for business growth.
- Work closely with demand & planning - Logistics team to optimize product delivery.
- Provide technical support to sales teams and customers, delivering training and product content.
- Manage and maintain updates in the brand catalogue, ensuring accuracy of product data.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards while managing product quality and warranties.
- Preparation of regular reports, presentations, and dashboards, as well as their presentation to relevant stakeholders.

Job Requirements (Qualifications, Skills, Experience, Competencies)
- University degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing or equivalent field of education.
- 5+ years’ experience in Category Management, Product Management, or a similar role - the Automotive Aftermarket segment is a plus.
- Experience in the development and execution of Go-to-Market strategies
- Commercial acumen with understanding of pricing, margin management, and profitability drivers
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Confidence working with ERP systems (SAP experience advantageous).
