Role Summary
The job incumbent coordinates the business development activities within MHAU in close cooperation with Sales and Product Management (PM)/Pricing areas with the goal to increase market share with a focus on product range, new market fields, and business models. He/she monitors Sales and SKUs development per segment and per product group and derives action plans. He/she provides training and product-segment focus materials for the Sales team for better Filtration skills and develops new value-added services for better customer obsession.
Main Tasks
- Keep track of market development in terms of product application trends, vehicles in circulation (VIO) analysis, customers (fleets) inquiries, E-Commerce channel support, to be market leader instead of follower.
- Manage and report Strategic Initiatives results and follow up in collaboration with other areas.
- Elaborate business cases analysis and support implementation of nominated key projects.
- Track major competitors, fast mover items, distribution analysis and strategy to take/propose the actions to grow M+H share of wallet.
- Timely feedback to PM/Pricing area in terms of the product development priority and price positioning to strengthen M+H competitive product range.
- Monitor SKUs development, launching, definition of forecast and inventory levels, provide sales follow-up reports and take/proposing quick actions to fill the gaps in cooperation with demand planning logistics and sales.
- Work closely with regional sales team to develop segmental channel strategy and commercial terms to support synergy and overall segment growth (i.e. Off-highway project focus).
- Support Fleet agreements with business cases and implementation with gaps identification, forecast, inventory planning, and price positioning.
- Maintenance of Sales Platform such as Salesforce.
- Support Market Intelligence, market size ad share analysis and updates
Your Profile
- University degree in Business Administration, Commerce or equivalent field of education
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in Multinational corporations, the Automotive Aftermarket segment is a plus
- Business acumen, Strong data analytic skills, customer orientation, organization and coordination skills, self-initiative and ability to work under pressure
- Intermediate to Advanced MS office skills, experience with SAP
- Proficient in English (written & spoken)
