Internships Expectations

Start: End of May or Beginning of June
Duration: 6 - month minimum requirement
Hours per week: 15-25

Your Responsibilities

The Sales Internship position offers you the opportunity to gain exposure and hands-on experience working at MANN+HUMMEL. This position will provide challenging projects, networking opportunities, and a chance to learn from experienced sales professionals. Key assignments and tasks are the following 
− Complete market study evaluation of approachable market size of North America for ICE and BEV compared to MANN+HUMMEL market share
− Lead margin improvement project for one or more saleable parts
− Support an RFQ process intimately with a sales manager to gain a better understanding of the MANN+HUMMEL quote process
− Support capacity increases or program extensions
− Support scorecard maintenance activities
− Shadow other department functions where possible i.e. finance, logistics, purchasing, program management, process engineering, manufacturing, design and validation. Two of these areas to be deeply shadowed to demonstrate the understanding of the function of these departments and the risks and opportunities they face
− Support sales managers in day to day tasks where necessary, which will expose you to key customers on the PASSCAR account

Educational Requirements

− Actively pursuing an Associate’s, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or in a related field in an accredited program (must be within those majors)
− Current GPA 3.0 or better

Skills Requirements

− Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
− Strong organization and communication skills
− Ability to multitask in a collaborative team and office setting
− Willingness to take responsibility for projects as well as present key findings
