Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift

Main Tasks

  • Perform major mechanical and electrical repair on equipment and facilities
  • Be able to work within a team environment as well as independently
  • Follow departmental procedures
  • Understand computer based essentials on utilized maintenance software
  • Utilize trouble shooting techniques and root cause analysis to determine the corrective action
  • Planning and scheduling skills to plan and complete assigned work
  • Rebuild and refurbishment of equipment parts and sub-assembly

Experience

  • Experience in the trade of mechanical repair with an electrical background or experience in the trade of an electrician with a strong mechanical background with knowledge in pneumatics and hydraulics
  • Industrial manufacturing experience
  • Knowledge/experience with all level shop tools and automated equipment.
  • High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Successful completion of an apprenticeship where you earned a journeyman’s card
  • 8 years of experience in one dedicated craft or multi-craft position.
