Main Tasks

Strategic Business Partner 

  • Act as a trusted financial co-pilot and strategic counterpart to Vice Presidents of Original Equipment and Industrial businesses 
  • Provide a holistic financial perspective integrating strategic, commercial, and operational drivers 
  • Proactively challenge and influence senior leadership decisions to ensure sustainable financial performance and value creation 
  • Drive business impact by linking financial steering to profitability, cash flow, and capital efficiency targets 
  • Drive entrepreneurial performance management using liquidity- and value-focused KPIs (e.g., NWC, FCF, ROCE) 
  • Lead and drive company-wide process optimization and digitalization initiatives to enhance efficiency and transparency 
  • Proactively design and improve financial processes in alignment with group standards, with strong focus on digitalization 
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships across a global and matrixed organization 

Financial Governance & Performance 

  • Own and ensure efficient financial processes, high data quality, and transparency 
  • Act as a forward-looking financial leader, delivering insightful KPI analysis, forecasts, and budgets to senior management 
  • Hold accountability for legal entity financial oversight, including:  
  • Financial performance and balance sheet reviews 
  • Profitability analysis by customer and product 
  • Costing, investment management, and capital allocation 
  • Financial, liquidity, and working capital planning, forecasting, and budgeting 

Risk Management & Controls 

  • Ensure implementation and continuous compliance with internal control systems and financial governance standards 
  • Translate financial requirements from Headquarters into an effective regional finance strategy 
  • Identify performance gaps, define corrective actions jointly with business leadership, and track financial impact 

Leadership & Organizational Impact 

  • Lead, develop, and inspire the Business Unit Controlling organization, ensuring high performance, engagement, and continuous capability building 
  • Build a strong talent pipeline through active coaching, development, and succession planning 
  • Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and performance discipline 
  • Strengthen cross-functional collaboration and promote a “one-team” mindset in a global matrix environment

Your Profile

Education 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field 

Experience 

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in finance/controlling 
  • Proven leadership experience with direct people management responsibility 
  • Strong background in a global, matrixed, and multicultural organization 

 

Required Skills 

  • Strong financial acumen with proven financial performance management and reporting capabilities 
  • Advanced SAP expertise 
  • Strong analytical and business partnering skills 
  • Excellent communication and influencing capabilities
