Customer Quality Engineering Intern

Internship Expectations
Start: End of May or Beginning of June
Duration: 6 - 12 months
Hours per week: 15-25
Your Responsibilites
− Work with Quality Engineering to support new and existing products
− Write and update work instructions for equipment
− Time study assembly lines and assist in balancing work loads
− Participate in layered review process
− Work on continuous improvements exercises
− Perform other duties as assigned
Educational Requirements
− Actively pursuing an bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering or mechanical engineering in an accredited program
− Current GPA 3.0 or better
Skills Requirements
− Project management as well as strong organization and communication skills
− Willingness to take responsibility for projects
− Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel. Word, Power Point, Outlook, etc)
− Ability to multitask in a collaborative team and office setting
− Knowledge of AutoCAD and SAP software a plus
− Ability to read and evaluate part prints
