Role Summary
The Key Account Manager CAF Business serves as the primary daily contact responsible for all commercial aspects associated with the account support actions of the assigned customers. Other customers and/or regions could be within scope from time to time based on workloads of broader sales teams.
Main Tasks
- Provide an ongoing support to the customers as regards all business issues and ensure high quality customer service.
- Responsible for driving acquisition RFQ’s to award with competitive material cost, tooling, development cost, & OH’s. KPI, profitability of awarded business.
- Serves as the primary managerial contact for OE filter customers, and is responsible for ensuring both the customer, as well as all appropriate organizations within M+H are effectively managed.
- Support the customer projects from a technical as well as commercial perspective from the initial phase until delivery regarding budget, deadlines etc.
- Prepare and conduct the negotiations regarding the product modifications and prices during the production phase within given limits.
- Support sales planning while working in the planning system.
- Help to support and manage customer capacity studies.
- Lead open book / cost model discussions with customers on assigned projects.
- Complete or review system tasks in the quotation and development process.
- Lead complex global/local quotations projects with multiple M+H and customer sites.
- Conduct feasibility studies together with the project team.
- Present global projects to the global SC as well at Local Steering Committees.
- Travel locally and globally as necessary to MH or customer locations to support programs.
- Account manager will be actively involved in global coordination of key customers.
Your Profile
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
Experience Requirements
- 3+years of relevant business experience in the automotive industry.
- Suitable customer commercial experience in Program Management or Sales.
- Experience managing Cabin Air Filter business.
