Role Summary

The Production Shift Leader is responsible for ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of production activities during the assigned shift, in line with the production plan. The role includes the day-to-day leadership of a team of approximately 25 employees, ensuring compliance with production, quality, safety, and workplace standards. Key responsibilities also include effective resource utilization, maintaining discipline and organization within the production area, preparing required production reports and documentation, and cooperating closely with cross-functional departments. The Production Shift Leader also actively contributes to continuous improvement, efficiency enhancement, and cost reduction initiatives. 

Main Tasks

  • Managing and coordinating production activities in line with the current production plan, ensuring compliance with deadlines, work instructions, safety regulations, and defined technical parameters.
  • Leading and coordinating the employees working on the assigned shift (approximately 25 employees).
  • Ensuring the efficient utilization of available resources, including workforce, machinery, and equipment.
  • Ensuring cleanliness, order, and discipline within the production area, including adherence to break times and shift change procedures.
  • Preparing and submitting required production reports, quality records, and related documentation accurately and on time.
  • Cooperating closely with other departments and functions to achieve production and company objectives.
  • Ensuring compliance with company standards, expectations, and defined performance targets.
  • Participating in cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and continuous improvement projects.

Experience

2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a team leader or supervisory role.
