Role Summary
Engineering is responsible for leading, managing, and/or performing engineering work.
Main Tasks
- Lead and coordinate all engineering operations within the production plant
- Ensure all technical processes run cost-effectively and comply with MANN+HUMMEL and ISO standards
- Define and implement manufacturing processes for new projects based on customer and internal requirements
- Plan production layouts, space utilization, resource and tooling requirements
- Drive automation strategy, ensuring the right balance between manual and automated processes
- Prepare and execute CAPEX projects, including ROI calculations and supplier coordination
- Participate in product industrialization projects with R&D, Sales, and customers
- Identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving opportunities (NMS)
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production processes
- Manage internal training programs and lead hands-on technical trainings when needed
- Support MES implementation from the engineering side
- Prepare investment proposals and engineering documentation for management
Your Profile
- BSc. or MSc. degree in Engineering or equivalent technical qualification
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing
- Strong experience in processes, process development and change management
- Knowledge in ERP system, user level (preferably SAP)
- Strong English skills, both written and spoken
