SAP Basis Engineer

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Independent operation of one or more SAP applications (ERP, HCM, etc.) in a large SAP landscape
  • Error analysis and troubleshooting (OS, DB, SAP) 
  • Planning and implementation of upgrades using project management methods
  • Ensure the availability and performance of the systems and solutions
  • Compliance with ITIL processes and dealing with different ticket variants, such as ServiceNow
  • Support of interface systems in the SAP landscape
  • Coordination of international projects with business or application management
  • Independent creation and responsibility for demands and projects
  • Communication and cooperation with the other departments

YOUR PROFILE:

 

  • Education: Successfully completed IT-related studies or comparable training in IT
  • Experience: 4+ years of professional experience in SAP Basis environment
  • Required Skills: Solid foundational knowledge of SAP, ideally with experience supporting SAP BW, SAP APO, and SAP BTP. Proven experience in administering SAP Basis systems, HANA databases, and MS Windows Server or SUSE Linux operating systems
  • Language skills: Very good written and spoken English (B2+)
  • Competences: Methodical and structured approach to work, excellent communication skills, strong team player in an international environment, with a confident yet easy-going personality, and the ability to openly share ideas
