Role Summary
The Procurement Manager Global Operations & Supply Chain operates as the accountable interface for translating Operations and Supply Chain PSO strategies into actionable Procurement initiatives that enable Operations and Supply Chain performance, efficiency, resilience, and transformation.
Your Challenge
- Serve as the primary Procurement interface to Operations and Supply Chain PSO leadership, ensuring continuous strategic alignment and effective translation of PSO priorities into Procurement actions
- Understand PSO target pictures, roadmaps, and constraints, and convert them into structured, prioritized Procurement initiatives supporting logistics, automation, footprint, and supply chain evolution
- Drive rapid impact initiatives delivering measurable performance improvements aligned with PSO objectives, using KPIs relevant to operations, service, and financial outcomes
- Animate and coordinate cross functional contributor networks across PSOs to secure aligned inputs, data consistency, and coherent decision making for Procurement initiatives
- Co drive Procurement initiatives with the Procurement Commodity Vice President, ensuring Global and Regional Commodity Managers execute supplier strategies aligned with PSO needs
- Ensure Procurement enables future operating models, including automation readiness, standardized material handling, logistics integration, and digital supplier capabilities
- Support development of global logistics, warehousing, transportation, and footprint strategies through supplier readiness, structured sourcing frameworks, and preferred supplier models
- Ensure supplier standards, packaging, and logistics requirements are harmonized globally and embedded into sourcing strategies, specifications, and supplier contracts
- Translate new supply chain concepts into negotiation guidelines and contractual frameworks securing lead times, MOQs, logistics models, performance commitments, and risk mitigation
- Partner closely with Supplier Quality Development teams to ensure supplier readiness, performance stability, and sustainable execution of Operations and Supply Chain strategy enabling initiatives
Your Profile
- Education: Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a comparable field
- Professional Experience: At least 5-7 years of relevant experience in strategic procurement with a focus on operations, supply chain, and logistics in an international environment
- Expertise:
- Strong understanding of procurement, supply chain, and logistics value drivers
- Proven experience in translating strategic priorities into procurement initiatives and supplier strategies
- Solid background in supplier management, negotiations, contracts, and performance management
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work effectively across functions and regions
- Language Skills: Very good English skills; German is a plus
- Personality:
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- High level of ownership, drive, and implementation strength
- Structured and solution-oriented mindset
- International travel readiness
