Role Summary
As a Key Account Manager Europe, you are the central interface between the key account and the various departments at MANN+HUMMEL. You are responsible for implementing the multi-brand key account strategy within our matrix organization for our largest account. In close collaboration with the regional sales directors and the Head of Key Account Management, you play a significant role in successfully achieving our revenue and service objectives.
Main Tasks
- Analyzing customer needs to support the key account in implementing growth strategies and strengthening our long-term partnership.
- Advising the key account on market-relevant product aspects, providing information on new products and services, and identifying new business development opportunities.
- Negotiating and finalizing framework agreements and service level agreements, including their preparation and the preparation of complex tender offers.
- Taking central responsibility for price and condition negotiations with the key account at the country level, in line with M+H's pricing strategy.
- Preparing internal and external KPI reports/presentations and initiating actions in case of deviations in close coordination with the regional teams.
- Forecasting customer and market trends for proactive planning and monitoring competitor activities.
- Representing M+H brands at trade shows, customer events, and exhibitions to ensure market competitiveness.
Your Profile
- Education: Successfully completed technical or business studies or a comparable qualification
- Professional Experience: At least 5 years of relevant professional experience, including 2 years in the aftermarket
- Expertise:
- Technical understanding
- Excellent numerical skills and financial expertise, including P&L knowledge
- Experience in leading global pricing and contract negotiations
- Experience in project management is desirable
- Proficiency in SAP, Sales Force, MS Office
- Language Skills: Fluent in English, German skills are desirable
- Personality:
- Management and organizational skills in cross-functional teams
- Strong negotiation and advisory skills, combined with business acumen
- Initiative and resilience
- Strong communication and conflict management skills
- Willingness to travel for business
