Role Summary

As Global Head of Digital Business Solutions, you hold enterprise-wide, end-to-end accountability for the company’s Digital Workplace and Application Management domains. You define strategy, governance, and operating models for modern workplace technologies and enterprise applications, ensuring they scale globally, remain secure and reliable, and deliver measurable business value. The role combines strategic leadership with operational accountability and is a key enabler of company-wide digital transformation.

Your Challenge:

  • Disciplinary and functional leadership for multiple international teams (around 40 people)
  • Build and develop high-performing, globally distributed teams in Retained Organization, Local IT and Shared Service Center in Czech Republic and India
  • Act as a senior role model for modern leadership and change management
  • Define and execute the enterprise strategy and roadmap and serve as a key interface between business leadership, IT management, security, architecture, and governance bodies
  • Own a multi-million budget, including planning, forecasting, investments, and cost control and managing strategic vendors and sourcing models to maximize quality, scalability, and value 


Scope of Responsibility:

Digital Workplace (Enterprise Scale)

  • Responsible for the strategy, standards, and lifecycle of the global digital workplace, including:
    • Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Copilot, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange, Power Platform etc.) 
    • Endpoint & Device Management (Microsoft Intune, Realmjoin, Microsoft Defender)
    • Collaboration, productivity, adoption, and digital employee experience (DEX)  


Application Management (Enterprise Applications & Platforms)

  • End-to-end ownership of the enterprise application landscape, including:
    • Software Package Factory (standardization, packaging, deployment, lifecycle)
    • Application Operations (L3 support, availability, performance, incident & problem management)
    • Server & Platform Management (on premise and cloud hosting for applications)
    • Application lifecycle management (roadmaps, upgrades, consolidation, decommissioning)
    • Vendor, sourcing, and service provider management

Your Profile:

  • Education: University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable field
  • Professional Experience: At least 8-10 years of experience in Senior IT leadership roles within large, international enterprises
  • Expertise:
    • Deep understanding of Digital Workplace technologies (M365, Intune, Entra) and Application Management (enterprise architecture management, application lifecycle, operations, platforms)
    • Lead transformation initiatives such as cloud-first workplace, zero-trust security, automation, and platform standardization
    • Ensure secure, reliable, and high-performing workplace and application services worldwide
    • Drive KPI-based performance management, automation, standardization, and ITSM maturity
  • Language skills: Very good English skills; German is a plus
  • Personality:
    • Strong leadership presence with the ability to engage and influence Senior Stakeholders
    • Ability to translate complex environments into clear strategies, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes
    • KPI-driven, service-oriented mindset with strong governance and risk awareness
    • International travel readiness
