Your Challenge:

  • Strategic management of the IT commodity group, including the definition and implementation of supplier and commodity strategies, as well as active management of the supplier panel.
  • Coordination and execution of complex tenders and procurement processes (e.g. requests for proposals, contract negotiations, selection of suitable licensing models) for regional and global IT projects.
  • Identification and realization of cost-saving opportunities, such as supplier panel optimization, renegotiations, and technical improvements.
  • Contract management with international IT vendors, ensuring compliance with functional requirements and legal frameworks.
  • Analysis and standardization of procurement processes and negotiation tools.
  • Acting as a business partner for global departments.
  • Support with invoice verification, e-catalog creation, and audit preparations.
  • Escalation management for critical issues such as contract deviations and quality deficiencies.
  • Representing the company in purchasing alliances and actively shaping strategic partnerships.

Ihr Profil

  • Education: Successfully completed studies in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Information Technology, or a comparable field
  • Professional Experience: At least 5 years of experience in procurement and/or commodity management within an international corporate environment
  • Expertise:
    • In-depth knowledge of hardware, software, cloud services, SaaS, cybersecurity, AI tools, and licensing models
    • Ability to analyze data related to spend, market trends, and supplier performance
    • Strong negotiation skills and experience with advanced procurement methods (e.g., e-auctions, negotiations with sole suppliers)
    • Experience and knowledge in contract management and international contract law
  • Language Skills: Excellent English and at least good German skills, both written and spoken
  • Personal Attributes:
    • Skilled in negotiating with suppliers and collaborating with internal stakeholders
    • Strong team spirit and social competence
    • High level of self-motivation and team orientation with a strong drive for success
    • Excellent communication skills, ability to handle conflict, strong cost awareness, assertiveness, and analytical thinking
