Main Tasks

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the maintenance team, ensuring timely and effective completion of all preventive and reactive maintenance
  • Organize, staff, and direct maintenance operations to support production goals
  • Train and mentor team members on maintenance best practices and safety standards
  • Oversee facility systems including HVAC, electrical, and high-voltage equipment
  • Implement and manage a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track work orders, schedules, and inventory
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
  • Ensure all technical processes are reliable, cost-effective, and compliant with company and legal standards
  • Lead site infrastructure projects in coordination with corporate teams
  • Manage spare parts inventory to support efficient repairs and maintenance activities
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying gaps and optimizing processes, training, and workflows
  • Plan and manage maintenance budgets and resource allocation
  • Perform additional duties as required

 

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Facilities Maintenance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience maintaining and improving production processes (e.g., welding, assembly, pleating)
  • Strong background in facility and electrical maintenance; welding experience (MIG/SMAW) preferred
  • Knowledge of HSE standards; Lockout/Tagout experience preferred
  • Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC); Journeyman Electrician license a plus
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and root cause analysis skills
  • Effective communication skills in English; Spanish a plus
  • Proven leadership and decision-making abilities in fast-paced environments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to motivate others
  • Ability to work after hours or weekends as needed
  • Ability to work at heights (ladders/lifts) and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must have basic tools
  • Authorized to work in the United States
