Main Tasks
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the maintenance team, ensuring timely and effective completion of all preventive and reactive maintenance
- Organize, staff, and direct maintenance operations to support production goals
- Train and mentor team members on maintenance best practices and safety standards
- Oversee facility systems including HVAC, electrical, and high-voltage equipment
- Implement and manage a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track work orders, schedules, and inventory
- Conduct regular inspections to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
- Ensure all technical processes are reliable, cost-effective, and compliant with company and legal standards
- Lead site infrastructure projects in coordination with corporate teams
- Manage spare parts inventory to support efficient repairs and maintenance activities
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying gaps and optimizing processes, training, and workflows
- Plan and manage maintenance budgets and resource allocation
- Perform additional duties as required
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Facilities Maintenance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience maintaining and improving production processes (e.g., welding, assembly, pleating)
- Strong background in facility and electrical maintenance; welding experience (MIG/SMAW) preferred
- Knowledge of HSE standards; Lockout/Tagout experience preferred
- Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC); Journeyman Electrician license a plus
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and root cause analysis skills
- Effective communication skills in English; Spanish a plus
- Proven leadership and decision-making abilities in fast-paced environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to motivate others
- Ability to work after hours or weekends as needed
- Ability to work at heights (ladders/lifts) and lift up to 50 lbs
- Must have basic tools
- Authorized to work in the United States
