Role Summary
The Senior Manager Global Molecular Sales plays a pivotal role in driving the global molecular sales strategy, overseeing the development and execution of key sales initiatives. This role focuses on identifying market opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and leading cross-functional sales teams to deliver results. With a strong track record in sales leadership, the Senior Manager ensures consistent profitable revenue growth while demonstrating strategic foresight across diverse markets.
Main Tasks
- Position the company and its molecular product portfolio with customers in the assigned market segment
- Develop and implement strategies to expand market share and capitalize on emerging opportunities in the molecular sector
- Manage and support key customers, presenting molecular products and providing tailored recommendations
- Provide dynamic leadership to cross-functional sales teams, instilling a strategic vision and adaptability to navigate diverse markets and cultural nuances
- Drive the acquisition of new customers and maintain strong relationships with existing accounts to secure repeat business
- Serve as the interface between Sales, Product Management, Production, R&D, and Key Account Management to ensure seamless project execution
- Contribute to strategic and operational planning, including annual budgeting, forecasting, and sales strategies
- Lead and manage the molecular sales team, ensuring effective organization, staffing, and guidance
- Prepare and deliver regular reports on key performance indicators, such as revenue, gross margin, and customer satisfaction

Your Profile
- University degree in Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent field of education
- Min. 5 years of progressive leadership and managerial experience and success in global sales management with in-depth understanding of the industry, markets, and global sales dynamics
- Business acumen, customer orientation, organization and coordination skills, self-initiative, and ability to work under pressure
- Exceptional leadership qualities with a hands-on approach to leading cross-functional sales teams, fostering a culture of achievement
- Proficient in German and English, both written and verbal
- Basic MS Office skills
- Advanced SAP Skills
