Production Planner

Main Tasks

• Planning and controlling production schedules and coordinating with material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials 
• Estimating and scheduling the human resources, tools, and equipment needed for the production process 
• Researching, evaluating, and recommending changes to production processes, systems, technology, or equipment to enhance organization's production capabilities
• Fulfil the requests of production planning process instruction  
• Setting and maintenance of master data in ERP 
• Control and evaluation of customer demands in ERP  
• Control of capacity for production lines  
• Understanding Lean principles  
• Control of disposability of components for production orders  
• Control of fulfilling production plan on daily basis  
• Optimizing of stock level for FG and SFG  
• Setting optimal production batches / levelling  
• Control of old planned and production orders in ERP
• Join and partly prepare MPS meetings  
• Performing other tasks according to the direct supervisor   
• Fulfills procedures, instructions, orders and environmental laws and all generally applicable legal regulations.  

Your Profile

Education:

• Bachelors degree in related field preferred or equivalent work experience

Experience: 

• 3+ years of relevant work experience, with focus on production planning and cooperation with production shopfloor 
• ERP experience such as Sage or SAP

Skills: 

• MS office skills 
• English
