PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

Main Tasks
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production activities and employee performance.
- Create work schedules, assign duties, and ensure adherence to quality standards and company procedures.
- Hire, train, coach, develop, and manage employees in accordance with HR policies.
- Promote a safe, clean, and organized work environment with a strong safety-first culture.
- Monitor productivity, labor utilization, and overtime while driving operational efficiency.
- Standardize processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with plant leadership to meet production targets and customer requirements.
- Track and report production output, issues, and performance metrics.
- Ensure proper staffing and attendance throughout shifts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or material management environment.
- Experience with hiring, training, coaching, performance management, and employee development.
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of production scheduling, materials planning, and Lean Manufacturing principles preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP/Sage experience is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and work independently or as part of a team.
- Forklift experience/certification preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Authorized to work in the United States.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical equipment such as forklifts and other machinery. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. Ability to work in temperature conditions between 45 to 95 degrees Fahrenheit; may occasionally exceed 95 degrees Fahrenheit.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; bend; stoop; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach/lift with hands and arms up to 50 pounds.
