PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

Role Summary

The production supervisor position directs and manages production operations with overall responsibilities for production, maintenance, quality and other production-related activities. This position manages all employees of the department and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within that department.

Main Tasks

• Direct and manage operations for production and quality of various filters
• Develop and control work production. 
• Establish and monitor production performance and quality standards. 
• Control and minimize labor overtime. 
• Provide leadership and training to accomplish the company goals and objectives. 
• Incorporates shop floor organization and plant cleanliness among plant personnel. 
• Provides direction, development and leadership to leads. 
• Responsible for ensuring a safe work environment with a focus on “Safety First” with no lost-time worker’s comp incidents

Your Profile

• 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing plant environment, managing staff, including responsibility for hiring, terminating and performance appraisals.
• Manufacturing/industry experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
