Job Responsibilities

− Strategically leads benefits for multiple locations within the U.S.  Responsible for cost control and ensure benefit programs remain competitive.  Works in close partnership with our broker and vendors
− Administers all employee benefit plans including, but not limited to health, dental and vision insurance, e.g. 401(k) administration; short and long term disability
− Responsible for the selection process for vendors and oversee enrollment, renewal, and delivery of benefits to the organization’s employees. Very frequently monitor government regulations and market trends to ensure that M+H programs are current, competitive, and legal
− Researches and resolves non-routine benefits issues on behalf of employees and the Company
− Serves as key contact for plan questions, plan eligibility issues and complex claims issues
− Works closely with broker to evaluate current plans and source new carriers as needed
− Provides guidance and direction relative to the benefits, business processes in our Payroll and HRIS system and update, as necessary.  This includes partnering with Payroll / HRIS to support system upgrades and other changes including new implementations and integrations.  Includes assisting with system testing to maintain system integrity for all benefit plans
− Manages employee enrollment system including approval of changes and problem resolution
− Reviews and processes benefit billings, checks for accuracy, and codes for accounting purposes.    Resolves complex vendor/invoicing issues
− Conducts new employee Orientation as it relates to benefits
− Communicates to employees on a frequent basis “Benefit Education Topics”
− Monitors costs and analyzes benefits trends to ensure competitiveness, making recommendations for changes and improvements as needed, at least annually
− Manages Company relocation and educational reimbursement programs
− Responsible for the U.S. managing and administering the U.S. fleet program
− Plans and executes the tactics of the Global Mobility program, consisting of local relocation, tax, and immigration, which are relevant to the US and all regional offices 

Educational Requirements

− Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or related field 

Experience Requirements

− At least 5 years of U.S. Benefits Experience working hand in hand with brokers and benefit carriers.

Skills Requirements

− In depth understanding of benefits systems and legal requirements
− Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and automated payroll and timekeeping systems
− Demonstrated analytical ability, structured, process orientated work style
− Strong interpersonal skills
