SD Process Manager

Role Summary

This is an onsite position based at our Main Office location in Gastonia, NC.

Main Tasks

-  Lead the region with developing and deploying best practice SAP SD processes
− Develop and maintain a sustainable SD key user matrix that supports long term stability in MP&L processes
− Ensure SD Processes in the region provide sustainable solutions to ensuring process accuracy and efficiency, as well as, stand-up to any required reviews to improve breakpoints and gaps
− Create a culture in the region of continuous improvement and best practice sharing
− Integrate lean manufacturing principles into the MM processes within the region
− As required, lead projects or process mapping events to help improve the speed of implementation for standardization and/or operational improvements
− Perform additional tasks as needed

Your Profile

Education:
− Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or other related field (i.e.: Business, Engineering, or Logistics)
Experience:
− 5 years of supply chain experience in a shipping or logistics role in a manufacturing or distribution environment
Required Skills:
− Must be proficient in SAP SD module
− Must understand Idoc processing in SAP
− Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel including the use of pivot tables, data formulas, v-look-ups, etc.
− Capable of setting priorities and making decisions autonomously

-  Effective at leading through influence

-  Ability to travel as needed up to 30% (primarily domestic)

Preferred Skills:
− SAP BW/BI reporting experience
− Manhattan or AS400
