Material Planning and Logistics Intern

Internship Expectations
Start: End of May or Beginning of June
Duration: 6 - 12 months
Hours per week: 15-25
Your Responsibilities:
- As an intern, you will be assigned to one key project that you will manage during the internship. Results will be presented to the leadership team at the end of the internship program
- Possible intern topics can include (will work to determine interest based on individual): warehouse efficiency redesign, end to end order management analysis, EDI/ASN implementations, and/or master data analysis review
- Providing support to material planning and logistics department in a high paced manufacturing environment
- Develop improvement ideals concepts and present them to the leadership team
- Work and spend time with co-workers to understand business processes and challenges
Education Requirements
- Actively pursuing Associate’s, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any science, engineering and/or business-related field in an accredited program
- Current GPA 3.0 or better
Experience Requirements
- Prior work experience in a manufacturing company is preferred, but not required
Required Skills
- Project management as well as strong organization and communication skills
- Willingness to take ownership and responsibility for projects
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel. Word, Power Point, Outlook, etc)
- Ability to multitask in a collaborative team and office setting
