Main Tasks

  • Key HR Partnership 
    • Serve as the primary HR advisor to business leaders, offering hands-on support for employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution. 
    • Drive HR initiatives aligned with business goals, including the development and analysis of key HR metrics (such as onboarding efficiency, employee engagement, retention, and compliance) to support continuous improvement and informed decision-making. 
    • Facilitate the annual talent review and succession planning process, ensuring that identified pipelines and developmental opportunities align with future business needs.
  • Operational HR Support 
    • Work closely with the shared services center to ensure the seamless delivery of outsourced HR services, proactively addressing any process gaps. 
    • Act as the main point of contact for HR policies and procedures, offering clear guidance to managers and employees while addressing HR-related queries promptly. 
    • Lead the monthly FTE forecast for the area, working in close collaboration with the Finance and Controlling team to ensure accurate workforce planning.
  • Recruitment, Onboarding, and Training 
    • Collaborate with hiring leaders to support the recruitment process through job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and facilitating smooth onboarding experiences. 
    • Oversee the scheduling and coordination of orientation sessions, training programs, and internal communications to maintain a consistent, positive employee experience.
  • HR Compliance and Administration 
    • Investigate potential violations of company policies, labor laws, and manufacturing practices, taking appropriate actions that include issuing disciplinary warnings and related communications. 
    • Manage annual processes such as salary adjustments, service award programs, and internal communications while staying informed about relevant labor laws, legal requirements, and best HR practices.
  • Additional Responsibilities 
    • Lead HR initiatives that directly influence business performance and culture without assuming formal HR leadership responsibilities. 
    • Perform any additional duties as assigned.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 
  • 5+ years of HR experience with a blend of operational and business partnering responsibilities, preferably in a manufacturing or automotive environment. 
  • Proven ability to advise and collaborate with business leaders while managing operational HR tasks effectively. 
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g. SF) and proficiency in MS Office Suite with strong analytical skills. 
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer-focused approach. 
  • Knowledge of local and federal labor regulations and HR best practices. 
  • Fluency in English is required; bilingual capabilities (Spanish) are a plus.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
