Job Responsibilities

As Finance Manager you’ll direct and lead the Finance team in the review and analysis of business performance, divisional forecasts and budgets, medium to long term business plans, investment and capital proposals, Financial and Statutory Accounting, highlighting opportunities and courses of action to improve group performance. Work closely with local and regional staffs to manage budget, analyze and improve spending, and monitor/facilitate processes to control and report costs/variances accurately and on a timely basis.

- Oversee and coordinate statutory reporting package at half and full year end
- Measure and monitor financial performance against budget, forecast and plans
- Ensure compliance with international accounting standards for audit purposes
- Manage the financial function and accuracy of source data
- Oversee and coordinate the monthly management reporting
- Ensure financial performance is optimized through effective adoption of appropriate accounting standards.
- Coordinate and conduct internal auditing to ensure compliance across the business and manage cases of
non-compliance. Measure and monitor financial performance against forecast and plans
- Ensure compliance with international accounting standards for audit purposes
- Input to the preparation of the short- and long-term business economic and industry outlook for impact on
planning and budget process
- Provide analysis and review of Business Case Modelling
- Develop individual goals and objectives in line with organizational strategy
- Ensure sound financial performance to be within the approved amount by cost center
- Prepare and facilitate the budget business plan processes of structural cost
- Responsible with tracking spending of cost centers including analysis of budget performance by cost center/department
- Analyze structural costs on both actual month / outlook for the year VS budget
- Prepare Structural Cost Financial Performance and Variable Bonus Report
- Preparation of accounting month-end book closing on structural cost (i.e., set-up an accrual)
- Responsible with year-end transactions relevant to expenses accrual
- Perform cost/benefits analysis and lease vs. buy analysis per cost center request
- Prepare Consumable and Scrap reports and provide to all concerned cost centers on a monthly basis
- Facilitate Profit Council savings activities and financial analysis in implementation of Profit Council activities

Educational Requirements


- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting of Financial field

Experience Requirement

- At least 6 years direct experience in function as Finance Manager ore related role with an automotive/manufacturing industry

- Customer service and financial/commercial orientation
- Exposure to multiple companies and industries
- Microsoft Office including advanced Excel skills
- SAP ERP systems experience
