Packaging Analyst

ROLE SUMMARY

This is an Onsite position based at our location in Fayetteville, NC. 

 - No Visa sponsorships will be available for this position. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Verify product packaging configurations based on ergonomic, customer, and transportation requirements
• Gather relevant information from Product and Process Engineers for Production Bill of Materials (PBOM) and create them in SAP
• Create, manage, and direct mass uploads of material data to SAP via Microsoft Excel with data gathered from other files via Excel’s lookup and conditional functions
• Create and maintain visual packaging documents for all products
• Assist in the creation, approval and release of graphics as required
• Support Purchasing and Product Management in the development packaging with external vendors
• Create and maintain Packaging label and UPC code database in Bartender software
• Maintain documentations within MANN+HUMMEL Product Data Management Software (CimDB) and WIX Engineering database
• Support engineering workflows for new part introduction and initiate and process technical changes as assigned
• Ownership and initiative to support department and company through a pro-active and positive attitude

REQUIREMENTS

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Packaging, or Associate’s degree and 1 year of relevant experience

Required Skills:

• Demonstrated ability in extracting, analyzing and manipulating data within Excel files using advanced lookup functions
• Working knowledge of and intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and other Windows applications

Preferred Experience & Skills:

• Experience in packaging, prepress operations or business management
• Experience with TOPS or other packaging software
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems
• Experience with CAD
