Role Summary
This position is responsible for packing, transporting, and distributing correct purchased and work-in-process components to work cells, removing, and properly storing finished goods, loading, and unloading trucks, build/assemble expendable packaging, and other material handling duties as assigned.
Main Tasks
- Able to safely operate all material handling equipment. (Stand-up fork truck, sit-down fork truck, Tugger, scissor lift, pallet jack etc.)
- Transport distributes and store materials in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner utilizing proper equipment.
- Handles all materials carefully and actively works to avoid employee injuries and product damage.
- Distributes correct purchased and work-in-process components to work cells.
- Picks and repacks purchased components to be delivered to production cells
- Properly receive incoming materials
- Assemble, band, and shrink wrap packaging as needed
- Accurately removes finished containers from work cells and places them in correct finished goods location for shipment.
- Accurately stock correct purchased components at work cells referencing lot traceability.
- Places purchased and work-in-process components in flow cells in proper locations.
- Practices good 5S housekeeping techniques and actively participates in 5S activities.
- Proper use of KANBAN System.
- Communicates problems and issues during shift and at shift changes.
- Keeps the Warehouse Supervisor advised of any production, downtime, quality, or safety problems related to material flow.
- Performs activities in a positive and professional manner.
- Maintains an acceptable attendance record to ensure timely work completion.
- Must have knowledge of and adhere to the current Quality System requirements that relate to this job
- Must adhere to and be trained in logistics and production basics
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned

- Any other material handling duties as assigned.
Your Profile
Education:
- High school diploma or GED
Required Skills:
- Excellent attendance is required as well as the availability to work overtime
- Must successfully pass Fork Truck License Training.
- Must complete New Employee Orientation and Quality Systems Overview training in addition to any training identified by department management.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in manufacturing environment
