Role Summary
Your Role
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will lead the launch of new products while driving continuous improvements for existing production lines. You will enhance manufacturing processes, optimize equipment layouts, and troubleshoot engineering challenges to boost production efficiency. Your focus will include reducing scrap, minimizing downtime, and lowering overall production costs.

Main Tasks
- Oversee the successful launch of new products and ensure a smooth transition from advanced engineering to operations.
- Conduct time studies, balance production lines, and implement improvements in current manufacturing processes.
- Engage with production teams to identify and act on opportunities for process enhancements.
- Maintain and update Visual Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures for production cells.
- Draft work specifications for modifications to machines and fixtures.
- Participate in design reviews, offering recommendations on manufacturability and process compatibility.
- Review new product layouts and recommend process flow, assembly methods, and equipment usage.
- Lead internal process development for new and existing tooling.
- Collaborate with the Quality department to ensure process or machine improvements meet customer requirements.
- Provide technical support for complex production equipment troubleshooting.
- Update process FMEAs, control plans, and production flows in response to design changes.
- Assist with customer-run validations for new programs.
- Stay current with industry advancements through ongoing training and study of relevant engineering publications.
- Investigate and implement corrective actions for any internal or external quality or safety concerns.
Your Profile
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong understanding of machine mechanics, fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and material strength.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Completion of New Employee Orientation, Quality Systems Overview, and department-specific training as assigned.
