Role Summary
Support the operations by assisting in managing the MPUS finished goods warehouses in Cowpens, SC, and Las Vegas, NV. This role focuses on providing operational support, working alongside the Operations Manager to ensure the efficient day-to-day functioning of the warehouses, including oversight of the 3PL service provider. The Junior Operations Manager will assist with performance monitoring, process improvements, and team supervision.

Main Tasks
- Assist with managing performance by supporting the Operations Manager in monitoring the team handling picking and packing operations to ensure adherence to agreed KPIs.
- Participate in reviews with the service provider, assisting with follow-through on corrective actions.
- Contribute to projects aimed at increasing efficiency and reducing costs.
- Assist with reviewing and auditing invoices and costs billed by the service provider.
- Help drive a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the departments and facilities.
- Work with internal teams on inventory reconciliation, carrier coordination, claims management, and export and collect shipments.
- Assist in managing customer claims and ensuring proper communication with the service provider.
- Help coordinate departmental efforts to meet operational needs, manage inventory, and minimize costs.
- Support logistics audits to evaluate performance.
- Contribute to process standardization and documentation for internal operations.
- Serve as a point of contact for internal teams, service providers, customers, and carriers.
- Work with the Quality Team to ensure product quality in the distribution centers.
- Assist with personnel development, including training and performance reviews under the direction of the Operations Manager.
- Support the interface with 4th-party logistics providers to ensure timely processing of outbound shipments.
Your Profile
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a Logistics-related field (preferred but not required for junior-level candidates).
- Will require up to 20% domestic travel between multiple sites locally.
Experience
- 2+ years of experience in a warehousing or manufacturing environment.
- 1+ year of supervisory or team leadership experience (preferred but not required).
- Experience working with suppliers or 3PL providers is a plus.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint a must.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, effectively communicating with colleagues, clients, and vendors.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of SAP systems or similar ERP systems preferred.
- Prior experience in logistics or supply chain processes preferred.
- Familiarity with process improvement tools or techniques a plus.
- Previous knowledge of Power BI a plus.
