About the role:
In this role, you’ll lead lean and project management initiatives across our internal shared services and local sites. You’ll partner with HR, Finance, IT, and other operational teams to redesign processes, remove inefficiencies, and deliver measurable improvements. It’s a hands‑on position where you’ll facilitate workshops, align stakeholders, and turn ideas into real solutions. Your responsibilities:
- Drive and coordinate lean initiatives and end‑to‑end projects (with strong focus on transportation) across global MANN+HUMMEL branches and shared service functions such as HR, Finance, and IT.
- Plan, organize, and facilitate Lean workshops to uncover process gaps, identify waste, and translate findings into concrete actions and implemented solutions.
- Execute and deliver end‑to‑end projects using waterfall or agile approach, ensuring timelines, scope, and business outcomes are met.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, resolve conflicts, and ensure alignment across functions during project.
- Analyze data to identify KPIs, quantify impact, and support prioritization of improvement opportunities.
- Drive follow‑up change management activities, including training, internal communication, and stakeholder engagement.
- Travel occasionally (up to ~30%) to facilitate workshops and support project delivery across global locations.
Skills
Your profile:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or relevant experience
- Experience: 5+ years in lean, project, or process management roles within non‑manufacturing areas (IT, HR, Finance, Sales, Customer Service); proven delivery of at least 10 end‑to‑end projects including value realization; experience working across geographies and cultures
- Required Skills: Hands‑on use of lean tools (8 wastes, 8D, Kaizen), value stream analysis, customer journey mapping or process mining; strong technical aptitude for systems, process flows, and automation; ability to analyze data and draw objective conclusions
- Languages: Very good English, both written and spoken
- Competencies: Excellent communication and facilitation skills (workshops with 10–25 participants including directors and VPs); customer‑centric approach with ability to translate needs into KPIs and tangible results; ability to handle multiple projects with senior stakeholders up to VP+ level
- Nice-to-have Qualifications: Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt or higher; experience with self‑service tools, AI, RPA, ServiceNow; background in data, quality, or compliance; interest in coaching or consulting
