The Graphic Designer position requires you to write, design, and prepare collateral materials, qualification packages, presentations, and new business proposals with a focus on new acquisitions and community outreach. Reporting to Team Leader of creative team and marketing leader, the ideal candidate is a positive and creative individual with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. They will be responsible for performing quality assurance, while working closely with our technical experts to ensure professional and error-free project delivery.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the design process, from conceptualization to execution, ensuring projects are completed within established timelines and meet client expectations
- Responsible for typesetting, layout, designing of inside text pages, and cover designs for textbook publishing
- Edit PowerPoint templates, slides and assets
- Help with editing, clean-up, and touch-up of the design material
- Use variety of graphics software packages, prepare digital files for large format printing, and other outputs
- Submit or upload final files for printing or online publishing and digital
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources efficiently to meet deadlines and deliver outstanding results
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate design assets, working closely with content creators and other relevant team members
YOUR PROFILE:
- Education: High school or University degree in Graphic Design, Digital Communication and Media, Marketing, or in a similar field
- Experience: +4 years proven experience working as a Graphic Designer, with a focus on both digital and print design, and preferably within a marketing agency or similar environment
- Required Skills: Strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of digital design projects, demonstrating creativity, technical expertise, and a keen eye for aesthetics, layout, typography, and color theory. Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and high competency level Google Apps Suite (including Google Slides), as well as Microsoft Outlook and Office: PowerPoint, Word, Excel. Knowledge of publishing processes for print and digital.
- Languages: Excellent written and spoken English (C1 Level), German language is an advantage
- Competences: Highly motivated and creative personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, extreme attention to detail and strong visual design sense: typography, color, usability, and other design principles. Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and ensure all deliverables meet the highest quality standards.
