Global Time to Pay Product Owner

Role Summary:

You will own and shape the global Time to Pay process, covering Time & Attendance and Payroll across all countries. This role is about finding the right balance between global standards and local requirements while ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time. You’ll work at the intersection of HR, Finance, and IT, driving digitalization, vendor strategy, and process efficiency on a global scale.

Main Tasks

  • Outlining entire business processes in their current form and transferring them from retained organization to Shared Service Center
  • Analysing processes, technical needs, and transformation requirements, including automation opportunities
  • Investigating ways to enhance efficiency in working methods and operational sequences
  • Developing processes according to (client) requirements while ensuring efficient capacity utilization
  • Conducting cost reduction studies and implementing client processes
  • Working with client and cross-functional groups to ensure the right information, resources, and processes are deployed to support specific business needs

Your Responsibilites:

  • Own and govern the end-to-end Time to Pay process (Time & Attendance and Payroll) globally
  • Define and roll out a global operating model, including clear split of responsibilities between global and local teams
  • Drive standardization and harmonization while ensuring compliance with local labor laws and tax regulations
  • Lead digitalization and automation initiatives, including decisions on global vs. local tools and outsourcing models
  • Manage relationships and performance of external Payroll and Time & Attendance vendors
  • Ensure seamless integration between HR systems, time tracking, and payroll processing
  • Monitor KPIs and SLAs, identify improvement areas, and lead transformation initiatives to increase efficiency and data quality
