Customer Service Specialist with French

About the role:
As a Customer Service Specialist with French, you’ll support our customers by ensuring smooth order processing and clear communication throughout the entire delivery cycle. You’ll work closely with internal logistics in MANN+HUMMEL France to resolve order-related issues, track shipments, and help customers receive their goods on time. This role is ideal for someone detail oriented who enjoys dynamic work environment and building positive customer relationships.
Your responsibilities:
- Handle customer requests coming through a ticketing tool (ServiceNOW) and customer portal, ensuring timely and accurate responses mostly via email.
- Confirm order details with external customers from France and create delivery notes.
- Track customer deliveries, proactively follow up on delays, and provide status updates.
- Manage return requests from initiation to completion, coordinating with logistics from MANN+HUMMEL France and other internal teams.
- Enter and process manual orders with attention to detail and timing.
- Monitor EDI orders, resolve discrepancies, support overdue management, and prepare related reports.
- Send timely and accurate order confirmations to customers and handle follow up inquiries.
Your profile:
- Education: High school or University Degree in a relevant field
- Experience: 1+ year experience with customer service or similar position is a strong advantage; Experience from Shared Service is an advantage, juniors are welcome
- Required Skills: Knowledge of Office 365 tools (especially Excel); experience with SAP and/or ServiceNOW (ticketing tool) is an advantage
- Languages: French B2/C1; English B1/B2
- Competencies: Strong communication and organizational skills; self motivated; committed team player; customer oriented mindset
