YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Set up and lead the global project to determine the origin of goods
- Define and specify necessary software and operational customs processes
- Support implementation of origin of goods in adequate software tool
- Coordinate operational activities relating to the origin of goods with the Shared Service Centre and the subsidiaries
- Create customs compliance guidelines and ensure compliance, including internal
- audits
- Act as in-house consultant for Group subsidiaries
- Prepare and conduct training courses worldwide - on site and via Teams
- Support and represent the Corporate Customs Expert Preferences in Preferential Processes
YOUR PROFILE:
- Education: University degree in finance, law, or economics with focus on foreign trade, customs law or comparable qualification
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in the field of customs / foreign trade in an international company
- Required Skills: Deep knowledge of customs and foreign trade law, in particular regulations on origin of goods. Good knowledge of preferential regulations as well as of operational preferential processes. Very good knowledge of international customs law. Experience in managing and implementing international projects in this field of expertise. Experience in training, moderation and presentation. Very good knowledge of SAP (especially GTS) and MS Office (especially Excel)
- Languages: Business fluent in English and German Language
- Competences: Excellent communication skills. Good analytical and conceptual skills, strong solution-orientated thinking. Structured way of working and high ability to work in a team. Strongly developed intercultural skills and willingness to travel globally
