YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:


• Create, edit, and refine content (in both US English and German) to improve clarity, tone, structure, and alignment with brand standards to promote products and services
• Translate content between US English and German
• Adapt and support language translations through coordination with external translation agencies
• Proofread, restructure, and edit content provided by other colleagues and writers
• Support the adaptation of content into different formats such as video scripts, presentations, datasheets, and other multimedia materials
• Assist in resolving complex content-related requests from internal clients
• Collaborate with all internal agency teams to ensure alignment with objectives and quality standards
• Demonstrate a willingness to continuously develop skills, including learning about B2B and B2C marketing, tools and software, and best practices related to content editing

YOUR PROFILE:

 

• Education: University degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or a related field

• Experience: 1+ year of experience as a Content or Web Editor, or in a similar role

• Required Skills: Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills; excellent attention to detail; translation expereince between US English and German; proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive); experience with content management systems (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager); basic knowledge of SEO and keyword research, or a willingness to learn. Basic graphic design and DTP skills (e.g., InDesign, Canva, etc.) and familiarity with or interest in learning about AI prompting is a big plus

• Languages: Native or near-native proficiency in both US English and German (C1 level or higher); knowledge of Spanish or another language is an advantage

• Competencies: Highly motivated and proactive personality with strong attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong organizational and prioritization abilities; collaborative team player; willingness to learn, grow, and take ownership
