Azure Tech Lead

The Customer Experience initiative at MANN+HUMMEL drives the transformation of our customer interactions and empowers our business units. You will join a newly formed team within GBTS in Brno, where your contributions will have a significant impact as we work to build a next-generation, top-tier e-commerce platform. In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, leveraging agile methodologies to tackle the unique challenges that come with the complexity of modern e-commerce. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Guide and mentor the development team (up to 3 members), providing technical direction and support to ensure the team’s growth and success, leading to higher productivity and quality outcomes. 
• Implement and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) and Bicep, ensuring consistent and repeatable deployments that enhance operational efficiency and reduce errors. 
• Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and processes to ensure high-quality code and effective solutions. 
• Monitor and optimize cloud resource usage to manage costs effectively, including scaling strategies and budget forecasting, driving cost efficiency and maximizing the value of cloud investments. 
• Implement robust monitoring and logging strategies using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and other tools to ensure system reliability and quick issue resolution, minimizing downtime and improving operational stability. 
• Work closely with project managers, product owners, and other stakeholders to align on project goals, timelines, and deliverables. 

YOUR PROFILE: 

• Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Azure certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable 
• Experience: At least 6 years in web development, with a minimum of 5 years specializing in Azure cloud solutions and architecture 
• Required Skills: Deep knowledge of Azure services, including Azure databases, Azure Data Factory, Azure Resource Manager, and Azure Monitor. Proficiency in developing and deploying microservices on Azure. Experience with Azure API Gateway for API management and integration, and with GraphQL in the context of eCommerce Solutions for efficient data querying and manipulation 
• Languages: Fluent English language
• Competencies: Ability to lead technical discussions, design sessions, and problem-solving initiatives, great communication, team leadership with can-do approach, continuous learning
