About the role:
As an Amazon Marketing Specialist at MANN+HUMMEL, you will develop our Amazon and marketplace presence in Europe as a new strategic sales channel for the Aftermarket business. Your main focus will be on product listing and content management (images, product selection, A+ content, category pages) and on improving the performance of existing product pages. Occasional travel within Europe (e.g. to meet sales/aftermarket teams or marketplace partners) may be required.
Your responsibilities:
- Develop MANN+HUMMEL’s Amazon (and other marketplace such as Autodoc etc.) presence in Europe, aligning activities with the Aftermarket and Sales teams.
- Manage and optimize product listings and category pages (product selection, images, A+ content, descriptions), ensuring accurate, compelling, and compliant content.
- Brief and coordinate the internal creative/content team, defining what assets are needed by when, and ensuring timely delivery and publication on the marketplaces.
- Monitor key performance metrics and run structured tests on content and assortment to drive continuous improvement.
- Work closely with Sales and Aftermarket to align marketplace activities with commercial priorities (focus products, promotions, pricing input, stock availability).
- Monitor and respond to customer reviews and feedback, addressing any issues and leveraging positive reviews to enhance product credibility.
- Gradually take over responsibility over planning, execution, and optimization of Amazon advertising campaigns (e.g. Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display).
Your profile:
- Education – Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, E‑Commerce, Digital Media, Economics, or a related field; a comparable commercial background with strong marketplace / e‑shop focus is also suitable.
- Experience – Proven experience with Amazon marketplace management or similar roles (e.g. e‑commerce manager, trade marketing manager, agency role focused on Amazon/marketplaces); hands-on experience with Amazon Seller/Vendor Central is required.
- Required Skills – Experience with Amazon advertising tools, famliarity with SEO and data analysis, proficiency in Excel, knowledge of agile SCRUM practices and related tools (e.g., Jira) is an advantage
- Languages – Fluent spoken and written English (C1); knowledge of German is an advantage
- Competencies – Self-driven, structured, and reliable “owner” mindset; excellent communication and coordination skills; curious, test‑and‑learn attitude with a strong focus on continuous improvement and measurable results.
