Role Summary

The role serves as the primary commercial interface to customers, managing and developing key MHZA accounts across the Commercial Vehicle and Off-Highway Industrial segments. It focuses on growing filtration market share, expanding the MANN+HUMMEL portfolio, and building long-term customer partnerships across industrial and fleet sectors. The incumbent owns the end-to-end commercial relationship, including contracts and pricing, ensuring high-quality products, service, and technical support while negotiating sustainable terms that protect volume, margin, and market positioning.

Main Tasks

  • Manage the day-to-day sales activities for a group of customers within MHZA to maintain long term relationships with them.
  • Identify sales opportunities and Implement the defined sales strategies for the specific key account or customers within the MHZA to achieve M+H revenue targets and service goals.
  • Conduct contract negotiations in cooperation with the legal department and negotiate the sale prices and conditions with the key account based on costs and market situation in line with the MHZA and regional pricing strategy, and this with collaboration with the Manager Sales of MHZA. Participate in customer discussions for products and prepare customer offers in collaboration with the Manager Sales MHZA, examine closely customer requirements regards all technical aspects, time and budget.
  • Visit new and existing customers, consult them on all market-relevant of M+H products, provide information on new products that could fit customers´ business needs, conduct product trainings/workshops, undertaking the role of consultant through analytic tools, prepare presentations.
  • Monitoring the sales performance of customers such as Turnover, Forecasting and Receivables while receiving and giving feedback on critical issues, directing customers to achieve their goals.
  • Define, analyse and evaluate customer needs and technical feasibility of customer requirements as well as deadlines and costs in the quotation phase. Provide quotation to customers
  • Support the key account or customers in the development of growth strategies, pricing strategies, marketing programs, etc. to ensure optimal market performance and competitiveness
  • Consult the key account or customers within MHZA on all market-relevant and technical aspects of products, provide information on new products and services that could fit into customer’s business needs, conduct product trainings/workshops, prepare presentations and reports
  • Facilitate the customer complaints/product returns
  • Oversee sales support activities such as sales administration, Sales Representative, BDEs, customer service, invoicing, and credit and collections to ensure that customer orders are processed, dispatched, invoiced, and paid accurately and on time.
  • Participate in industry fairs, customer fairs and exhibitions to ensure market competitiveness for the M+H brand.
  • Providing monthly sales forecasts and making plans with the logistics team.
  • Report all customer visits and activities (including leads, potential customers and opportunities) into MANN+HUMMEL CRM systems.
  • Forecast customer/market trends for forward planning and oversee competitors´ activities in the specific market to ensure market transparency and Mann+Hummel competitiveness.
  • Proactively initiate and propose customer-focused marketing ideas, events, and trade show participation in collaboration with the Marketing and Product teams, aimed at driving brand visibility, generating leads, and supporting growth.
  • Any additional projects/tasks from the management, as required
  • Work closely with Product Management (supporting New Product Introductions based on market/customer derived intel), Marketing (supporting marketing activities), Logistics (support the planning of inventory) and Pricing (providing market insights, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence to inform data-driven pricing decisions) Teams to over-achieve customer and market expectations.
  • Support the operations and plant team by sharing customer demand forecasts, product performance feedback, and market trends to help align production planning and improve service levels.
  • Serve as a liaison between customers and the Mann+Hummel departments as well as main point of service for customers. This includes Operations, Marketing, Logistics, Customer Service, Finance, Pricing, Product Management

Minimum Job Requirements & Experience

  • University degree in Business Administration or equivalent field of education
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience in the aftermarket sector
  • Knowledge of Mann Hummel Product range as well as customer´s business
  • Business acumen, customer orientation, organization and coordination skills, self-initiative and ability to work under pressure
