Role Summary
The job incumbent, as main contact to customers, manages the activities of multiple large customer accounts within MHZA and extended regions. This includes SADC and a defined specific market segment. Among these are the strategic development of key accounts, the management of all commercial issues, and the assurance that the customer receives high quality service and products while presenting negotiated terms of sales. Further to this, is the responsibility to increase the existing customer base.
Main Tasks
- Manage the day-to-day sales activities for a group of customers within MHZA to maintain long term relationships
- Identify sales opportunities and implement the defined sales strategies for the specific key account or customers to achieve M+H revenue targets and service goals
- Conduct contract negotiations in cooperation with the legal department and negotiate the sale prices and conditions with the key account based on costs and market situation in line with the MHZA and regional pricing strategy
- Participate in customer discussions for products and prepare customer offers in collaboration with the Manager Sales MHZA
- Visit new and existing customers, consult them on all market-relevant of M+H products, provide information on new products, conduct product trainings/workshops, undertaking the role of consultant through analytic tools, prepare presentations & reports
- Monitoring the sales performance of customers such as Turnover, Forecasting and Receivables while receiving and giving feedback on critical issues, directing customers to achieve their goals
- Extensive use of analytical tools within MHZA for market analytics
- Strategic market analysis and implementation of penetration strategie
- Initiate marketing events in collaboration with the Marketing/Product teams
- Following the customer/market trends closely for forward planning and oversee competitors´ activities in the specific market
Your Profile
- University degree in Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent field of education
- 4+ years of relevant work experience in the aftermarket sector or similar
- English at a professional level
- Knowledge of Mann Hummel Product range as well independent aftermarket knowledge
- Business acumen, customer orientation, organization and coordination skills, project management skills self-initiative and an ability to work under pressure
- Leadership skills, conflict management, communication skills
- MS office skills, Salesforce (CRM), PowerBI
- SAP Sales tools
