Role Summary
- Responsible for transaction processing in the Account Receivable team at MANN+HUMMEL shared service centre in India.
- Coordination of processes, support on projects, and mentoring freshers and new joiners in the team.
Main Tasks
- Perform cash allocation and incoming cheque processes to handle customer cash payments.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in payments and unapplied cash positions.
- Conduct dispute management and reporting to analyze discrepancies in incoming payments, coordinating necessary remedy actions.
- Perform dunning runs and reporting as per local requirements to remind customers, identify causes of outstanding payments, and collaborate with sales or accounting to resolve issues.
- Propose and implement improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of performance.
- Support Lead Associates, Team Leaders, or the team in specific tasks.
- Maintain up-to-date process documentation (e.g., process maps, work step documents, manuals).
- Solve complex or non-standard tasks with a proactive approach.
- Manage individual projects within the accounting department, including rollouts and kickoffs.
- Coach, support, and mentor other team members, primarily juniors.
- Provide outputs for IKS controls (for Team Leaders, internal controllers, audits, etc.).
- Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager.
Your Profile
- University degree in business administration, sales, commerce, or a related field.
- 3 to 6 years of experience in Order to Cash, Account Receivables, Credits and Collections, Order Management, or Customer Service domains.
- Proficiency in SAP Financials (FICO or SD) and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio).
- Knowledge or experience in controlling, reporting, or data analysis is an advantage.
- Experience in a Shared Service Centre environment (e.g., ticketing tools, SLA KPIs).
- Flexibility with shift timings and experience in a 24x5 shift model.
- Service-oriented mindset with proven ability to develop creative solutions.
- Previous experience in researching, analyzing, and resolving payment data issues.
- Familiarity with assignments that involve meeting metrics for volume and accuracy.
