Role Summary

The job incumbent performs development in Engineering PLM IT systems for the business unit IT. 

Main Tasks

Software development

  • Responsible for all the activities in the SDLC - business analysis, project coordination, test coordination, development.
  • Participating fully in Agile software development process
  • PLM Change coordination with internal & external stake holders.
  • Ensure the data quality and data structures required by the customers.
  • Ensure compliance with the M+H standards, processes and customer requirements
  • Contribute to documentation, process improvements, and internal knowledge sharing.
  • Coordinates & Supports the requirements of Virtual Engineering MHDE

Experience

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or IT
  • 4-6 years of Full Stack Developer experience with strong backend & frontend expertise to design,develop & maintain scalable web applications.
  • Hands on experience in Python & web apps HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Oracle SQL databases with knowledge in PostgreSQL.
  • Experience building UIs especially with a Javascript based framework like REACT/REDUX
  • Knowledge of SCRUM – Project management method
  •  Experience to build and secure RESTful APIs.
  • Hands on experience in GITHub Version management.
  • Knowledge of any PDM/CAD environment would be a added advantage.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based services and ability to integrate them with existing systems.
  • ERP System Experience  including system integration with PLM platform
  • Excellent  communication skills, both internally and with other stakeholders
