Role Summary

Product Design Engineering focuses on designing and developing new or existing products, components, or assemblies.

Main Tasks

  • Support in design related activities in the field of Life Science and Environmental product and ensure timely delivery of the assigned tasks with High quality.
  • Support in Design and development of Products according to customer requirements under consideration of M+H standards
  • Creation as well as modification of technical data & BOM in PDM System
  • Manage engineering changes according to TCM process/customer requirements.
  • Creation as well as modification of 3D models and Assemblies in CAD-Systems (CATIA V5 , SOLIDWORKS or similar)
  • Creation as well as modification and controlling of drawings in CATIA V5/SOLIDWORKS
  • Experience in creation & modification of Plastic, Sheet metal design & drawings
  • Participation in D-FMEA and P-FMEA
  • Share Best practices & Knowledge within the M+H design network
  • Be a team player with focus on Technical and Personal Development
  • Posses Intercultural Knowledge and strong interpersonal skills
  • Support team leader / Manager in organizational initiatives

Your Profile

Skills & Competencies:

  • Hands-on experience in 3D modelling and generation of drawings with CAD Tools like CATIA V5 or similar
  • Good knowledge of production process (i.e., injection moulding, sheet metal products)
  • Hands-on experience in working with PDM system
  • Experience in creation of Drawings and working with Standards
  • Product know how of M+H products as well as system understanding is an added advantage
  • Good knowledge of GD&T, Tolerance stack up & quality processes
  •  Experience in working with MS-Office. (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work independently and in a team with a creative mindset
  • Good communication and presentation skills

Minimum Educational Requirement

Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Mechanical engineering, mechanics

Experience

Qualification & Experience:

  • University degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 4 – 7  years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in product Design & development processes.
